Features
- A supply of compressed air is all that is needed to produce a jet of cold air with a temperature drop of up to 60°C.
- It works on the vortex principle and has no moving parts, so it offers a very long service life.
- No refrigerant or electricity is needed; compressed air spinning at high speed inside the tube generates both cold and hot air (Figure 1). The cold air makes cooling work easy in all kinds of industry, such as rapid cooling during spot welding or bonding.
- Even when the compressed air supplied is as warm as 40°C, a usefully cold jet of air is still produced. The proportion of cold air generated can be set according to air consumption, and both the temperature and the discharge volume of the cold air can be adjusted to suit requirements.
